The Division of Public Works is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and attractive public transportation network through comprehensive maintenance programs that include the construction and operation of roadway surfaces, storm water drainage, street cleaning, traffic control, street signage, right-of-way maintenance, snow and ice control, and fleet maintenance. The division administers construction projects throughout the City to improve and maintain Clear Lake's infrastructure and provides various other services related to the operation and repair of the infrastructure.
Our Public Works and Maintenance Department, 1419 - 2nd Avenue S., can be reached Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Public Works Director is Jeremy Korenberg.
The Public Works Department provides proactive and reactive responses to streets, storm drainage, and traffic control maintenance. The large-scale operations are conducted through major construction or reconstruction projects, whereas the majority of our services are scheduled maintenance activities and others are reactive in nature. Someone observes a problem, the problem is reported, and City crews repair the problem. We want to hear from you. If you encounter a problem, let us know. You are our eyes and ears. With your help, we can continue to make Clear Lake a wonderful City to both live and work.
Problems can be reported in two ways:
